Name: Bakugou Katsuki
Canon: My Hero Academia
Canon Point: Ch. 327. After Class-A recovers Deku and Bakugou apologizes to him.

History/Personality: Personal and Canon
Bakugou is a controlled explosion. He's the embodiment of passion which comes out in the form of anger that he uses to propel himself toward his goal of becoming the number one hero. At a glance, he comes off as a hothead, but his passion isn't clouded by anger but fueled by it. He uses it strategically to quickly and efficiently take down his opponents without needing to use the full force of his explosion quirk. His stubborn, brazen personality does little to endear him to others but those that see his drive and passion tend to stick around when they realize he has a hard time socializing with others because he's terrible at expressing himself. He often resorts to bursts of anger when people don't 'get him', since he's always been clear about what he wants, not realizing that his blatant attitude tends to overshadow his goals. He's very good at dismantling others' quirks and personalities in order to better crush them, but it's only when he puts forth the effort to hold back his anger in order to listen to others that he comes to understand them. That still doesn't mean he'll suddenly be nice - he won't! He tends to show he cares in more subtle ways through action rather than words. He's a tough-love type of character that will run you over if you're not careful. Recently, he's become more aware of the people around him and tries to listen more which brings out his more positive traits. He's always been courageous and does what he thinks is right without compromise. He doesn't let his inferiority complex get the better of him as much anymore having accepted his own weaknesses and instead uses his energy to better himself and help his teammates, becoming a better leader in the process.
Would you consider your character to be heroic? Why or why not?:
Bakugou has become a great hero. He's wanted to be a hero all his life and has tried - to the best of his ability - to become a hero without compromise. His inferiority complex made him lash out against his classmates early on but he's slowly come to accept his own flaws and has worked hard to correct them. He's always been a hero who could win a fight, but now he's become a hero who also puts rescuing others as a prioirty and in the process he's become a great leader putting his analytical skills to the test to get his team out of scrapes. He's become a hero who can both win a major fight against a villain and rescue others prioritizing the role that best suits him in the moment.
Powers/Abilities:
Quirk: Explosion
- Type: Emitter
- Sweat glands produce a substance akin to nitroglycerin.
- Able to spark the nitroglycerin-like sweat at will and cause explosions
- The more he sweats the more powerful the explosion
- Palms of his hands have very thick skin
- Can let off multiple explosions with little recoil
- Weakness: the more powerful the explosion, the more recoil on his arms. When he's cold he's less prone to sweat, so uses his costume to store his sweat. He can use this sweat to fight until he gets worked up enough to sweat on his own.

- Home Ed: Good cook, excellent at cleaning (probably from being punished so much as a kid)
